Anjo Bolarda’s practice originates from experiences and observations of the everyday, beliefs, myths, stories, food, habits and the spatial awareness of man. His interest lies in working with spaces by revealing its intrinsic aspects, thus giving them substance in different ways to make them visible to people so they could contemplate, explore and be aware of the actions and actual experiences that makes up our daily life.

Bolarda generates a broad diversity of outcome ranging from paintings, drawings, installations, video, murals, events, performances and workshops. In his art practice It is the interpretation of his navigation that builds up the core of his work.
