Art is born from the memories that grip us and never quite let go. Despite turbulent pools of untamed energies and emboldened hues, with a simple tug on nostalgia and a nudge on the familiar, ambiguity is materialized and chaos is contained within a canvas. Arkiv Vilmansa harnesses these memories to cultivate the body of his work.

Born and raised in Indonesia, Vilmansa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in which some say where the fine lines and fluidity comes from. He has since exhibited in galleries around the world and since been showcased in the Venice Biennale and auctions such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
