DIVINE COMEUPPANCE (LEANDERTHAL ON TOUR)

Pouring every ounce of strength left for the conclusive phase of the exhibition series, Divine Comeuppance is the final leg for the Leanderthal on Tour trilogy shows. From the subtle salty waves of Argao’s Studio 201 Gallery with Glorious Cycles, the sporadic and brutalist walls of Gallery Sort Of with Strong Orbits, we have finally come up to this. The final curtain is at hand.

DIVINE COMEUPPANCE showcases some not so recent recollection and realizations of Leanderthal with life’s myriad tendencies and experiences it has to offer, and how these affect his train of thoughts, creative thinking and interactions towards his relationships. The misadventures, concealed curdling anger, spontaneity and boisterous circumstances are all personalized and represented into whimsical creatures that are right out of Leanderthal’s psyche. Driven by the sense of purpose to outweigh adversities, the show aims to immortalize and alleviate these sentimentalities through artmaking, utilizing the techniques and mediums of drawing and painting.

The exhibit will be ornamented with twenty-six wallbound pieces and several Dreamcloud sculptures
