Goodnight, Sweet Dreams

As we fall asleep, most of us tend to wake up from a dream that we mistake for reality. Sometimes we’re aware that we are dreaming, but waking up was never an option. We can’t move, speak, or breathe; it feels like we’re drowning, but we’re still inside the boat made out of cofin that might paddle us to death. It builds our fear and anxiety, creating hallucinations inside our own minds
Seeweirdo was both frightened and fascinated by how sleep paralysis, or what he termed ‘nightmares’, can control our imagination in diverse ways.
“Good night, sweet dreams,” his second solo show, is a tribute to his own past nightmares and to all the people who share the same experience. For him, sleep paralysis embodies the essence of creativity in many ways like no other. It is what helped him explore further in terms of technicality, style and aesthetic.
This exhibition will showcase the creative output of our minds as we try to wake up from our own nightmares. Seeweirdo ironically used a colorful palette to portray these nocturnal terrors in his works.
All of us have had and will continue to have different nightmares throughout our lives; perhaps it is a part of life that we must learn to cope with.
